ARJ Compressed Archive (.ARJ)

An archive format developed by Robert Jung. It started as a DOS utility and was expanded to handle long filenames in the ARJ32 version.

WinRAR provides basic operations for ARJ files created by other tools:
view contents, extract files, show comments and archive information.

You can use the convert function to convert .arj files into .rar format.

You do not need to have any external programs to handle these formats.
