Configure Pocket RAR
If you are starting Pocket RAR for the first time, you have the chance to change and save the default settings.
Integration Settings
Click on the Integration tab. Please choose the integration settings for RAR and ZIP files.
Enable these options to associate Pocket RAR with RAR and ZIP files. |  |
Path Settings
Click on the Paths tab, here you can - enter or browse the default extraction folder
- enable the “Append archive name” box of the default extraction folder
- enter or browse the default folder for archives
- enter or browse the default folder for temporary
files

Compression Settings
Please click on the compression tab, here you can - select the default compression format
- enable solid archive as default, which can raise compression ratio by 10% - 50% over more common methods, particularly when packing a large number of small, similar files
- choose the default compression method out ofsix supported compression methods: "Store", "Fastest", "Fast", "Normal", "Good" and "Best".
