WinRAR Theme Contest Winners Announced

Starting with WinRAR version 3.50 beta 1 it is possible to change the look of WinRAR by installing interface themes. In order to promote this new feature, win.rar GmbH and rarlab.com decided to have a theme contest. The contest started on April 11th and ran until the final version of 3.50 was released on August 8th 2005. At the end of the contest the 3 best themes (among the 17 submitted) were chosen by a jury made up of win.rar GmbH staff, professionals in the shareware industry and of course the developers of WinRAR.
The contest was very competitive and the winner was only chosen after a split decision. The winner received 500 USD, 2nd place 300 USD and 3rd place 100 USD. The winners were:
