1. WinRAR 3.41 Released!

win.rar GmbH and rarlab.com are proud to announce the new WinRAR 3.41.

** Changes of the 3.41 release:

1. Bugs corrected in this version:

a) when adding new files to already existing RAR solid archive,
RAR 3.40 compression ratio was lower than in RAR 3.30;

b) WinRAR "Repair" command could crash when repairing
a corrupt ZIP archive.

2. If archived Unicode name is invalid, RAR 'l' and 'v' commands
display ASCII file name instead of corrupt Unicode.

Of course Pocket RAR and the command line versions of RAR were also improved and are now available as version 3.41.

Upgrading is quick and easy. Users only need to download WinRAR 3.41 at http://www.win-rar.com/download.html and install the newest version of WinRAR to continue using the best compression tool around!
Please close all open WinRAR archives and exit WinRAR before installing.
No complicated uninstalling of the previous version is necessary.
